My German friend has translated the message I recieved after the auction ended and it said please give me your address, I will send the bumper and pay me when you recieve it?!
Doesnt sound like normal eBay way of selling things.. I am getting him to write me a reply and phone them up to sort it out. Nothing ever straight forward.. the seller originally had the Paypal logo.. and had since revised the ad and removed it..

it actually came lowered when i bought it... not sure what kit was used... its got red springs is all i know!
of course the side effects are hard handling and not getting over speed bumps..
Someone (Jay?) commented the other week that German ebays are more trusting (and less inclined to paypal). Think we might be getting somewhere slowly.. the seller is going to setup a paypal account. The seller was wanting a direct money transfer which I refuse to do. If the seller wont do it I'll have to leave it go..
I've also got possibly a pair of facelift W202 bumpers front and rear, which I may use instead, keep my C36 skirts and flog off my C36 rear bumper.
Then I can spend money on rust treatment and professional painting.

What? Don't swap the AMG stuff for facelift! AMG styling is much rarer and better looking IMHO.

This person in Germany is useless.. fortunately.. buyers cant be left negative feedback!
I've managed to find another one, going to try and sort it out at lunch time, this one in the UK! A bit more expensive though, but going to see if I can get the chrome bits thrown in and it'll be worth it.

Finally!! Got there in the end.. Woohoo!!
Just purchased, paid for everything.. next day delivery..
1 x C36 AMG front bumper, 2 x chrome strips and 2 x C36 AMG front fogs lights.
Total Price: £305 which included the next day delivery..

Mate no one in germany uses paypal, they all use bank transfer...
i have sent quite large sums of money over to germany for ebay items and never had an issue.,..
Not to say i wasnt biting my finger nails when my wheels took a long time to arrive (Cost £1200+ IIRC)

Finding more German ebay users are starting to accept PayPal now. Like Jay I've bought some larger expensive items (AMG kit for my W203) from Germany and paid via a Bank Transfer with no problems.
