There is nothing yet on the blackspot web site. A mate also heard about this development last month on a Subaru forum.

I heard it myself today and have no reason to doubt the info.

I read in Auto Express that Blackspot were releasing a new version. Being an authorised distributor I thought I had better find out more. Spoke to Blackspot and they say there is no plans for a new version and certainly nothing in the near future.

Needless to say if a new one comes out soon then Blackspot will lose a distributor!!

Oh, the price has dropped significantly too, the official price is £399 but 'we' are now able to offer a discount. The Snooper S4 is also a very good bit of kit!

Dunno but my local Maplin is selling them for £349.99 now.

*EDIT* I dunno if a new product is on the cards or not, but if it is I hope they realise that alot of people use USB these days and just old fashioned serial ports.

The retail price of the RoadAngel is £349 has been for a number of weeks now, this is in anticipation of a new product or two I am led to belive. These products I presume will retail for £399. As soon as I know more will let you know. As said I would not be loading up with stock for the next few weeks !
