Hello everyone.
just joined the forum and it looks good.
i have owned mercs since '92' starting with a w123 200t, 2x 190e's and my current merc which is a '93' w124 300D with 320k on the clock (most mine) which i've owned for the last 12 years or so. having concentrated on work i have neglected my 300D and took her off the road last month.
i was going to sell her but at the last minute i was offered another W124 this week from one of my customers. a 230e with cream leather interior and 200k on the clock. which i wanted for the parts like the heater, interior etc
i did the deal this morning and had an hours drive home and was suitably impressed with the car, a couple of front wings and she'll make a great everyday car.
my dilemma is do i strip a good car for bits or buy a couple of wings?
