AdBlue dilemma - C205 C220d

In your first post, you say that you've done 1500 miles since you got the car.
My 221 uses about 0.09 liters of Adblue per 100 km. If yours uses about the same you
would have used about 2 liters by now.
Yeah I'd sort of thought about this and that would make sense if they topped it up on previous service B. But it still doesn't explain why I can't syphon out the remainder or the bone dry tank floor. I would never expect to able to syphon out every drop but I thought I'd be able to get at least 10l out of a 20l tank.

On the premise that if the AdBlue has been deleted then you want it to remain so, you should advise the dealer to that effect when presenting the car to them for servicing and asking them to look into it.....

(Disclaimer: I wouldn't carry out an AdBlue Delete, nor would I drive a car that I know had an AdBkue Delete, for a whole range of reasons not the least of which is the potential invalidating of the motor insurance policy - personally, I simply wouldn't own any car with AdBlue, full stop)

^^^^
Would it be wise to tell the dealer that the car's had an AdBlue delete when taking it in ?

Shouldn't the garage refuse to allow an 'unroadworthy' car to be driven away from their premises ?

You'll be made to sign a disclaimer, by the dealer prior to release of the car, to acknowledge the AdBlue system is deleted and all that entails....

And (if it ever came to it) good luck with convincing the insurer that you 'had no knowledge' that the car has been modified from its original configuration..... these forums are public, you know :D

Any chance of a photo of this adblue injector? Never seen one and not exactly knowing where to look or indeed what it even looks like?
I think I am just Short on my posts to post pictures. Will get the numbers up get a photo on.

Wow! Yes the clog is very clear in the photos. Thank you.

I wonder if this would be covered by the MB extended warranty?
Ask mb. 🤔

There is a lot of crap Adblue out there,it has got so bad a number of haulage companies have banned their drivers from buying at filling stations, the drivers can only use the companies own bulk supply at their transport yards, drivers have a couple of containers full on thier truck, just so they do not run out while working.

Almost all of the AdBlue you see on sale is out in the open on fuel station forecourts or stacked up in a pile outside a discount store suffering extremes of heat and cold and exposure to UV.

Never buy that $hit seems to be at least one answer...also never buy a vehicle with AdBlue seems to be another....

I am on an MB service plan, so the AdBlue gets topped up during the annual service, and hopefully the MB AdBlue wouldn't cause clogging?

How strange is this adblue stuff ? We now have yet another fluid to add to the adblue, is it called addtothealreadyaddedadblue???

Wasn't it Carlsberg?...said Mr pedantic.
"Carsberg don't make AdBlue; but if we did, it would probably be the best AdBlue in the World..."
Edit.
If you drink enough Carlsberg, you can probably produce your own AdBlue 😁

Good pics buddy , I did see a YouTube thingy of those deposits being dissolved by hot water before reconnecting the bits .
