there does not appear to be any noticable rust, yet.......

So what are the rust-coloured stains on the wing in your photo? I'm surprised there's any metal left underneath that trim...

(I had a 1990 230E that got scrapped due to the rust affecting every single panel. Here's hoping yours doesn't suffer the same fate...)

they are indeed rust, i notice many cars suffer rust in that particular area but not elsewhere. Will be keeping a close eye on any rust expansion -easy to do with white paint
