This is my first post on this forum, so please excuse my lack of knowledge!
I have recently purchased a 2010 C200 CDI, that has covered just over 38K. Has the OM646 engine with 722.6 - 5 speed auto.
It has full MB service history.
I have a couple of questions regarding servicing, if anyone can help clarify?
First question is regarding changing the transmission fluid as it has not been done, I would like to change it, regardless of the 'sealed for life' stance.
How much ATF fluid will I need? Do I need to change the magnet? Should I change the electronic gearbox plug aswell as a precaution (A2035400253 ?) Do I need the long dipstick or can I just put back in what came out? Any other specialist tools required?
Are the service kits offered by a few MB dealers on ebay good value?
