Driving along the M49 today and crack, a huge stone chipped and cracked the top right edge of my windscreen. It will need replacing as the crack is about 20cm long.
Two things - Autoglass are the approved company to sort out the replacement. Will they know which windscreen to bring just from the reg number? I am just worried they'll bring one that won't have the sensor window and my auto lights and wipers will stop working. Is there anything they have to do to ensure the kit still works.
The car is a 2014 E Cabriolet. Any idea how the Aircap lifts manually? On this model I have to go over 25mph ish for it to go up automatically, unlike the old model. Does anyone know how I can do this?
I hate having to have a new windscreen. Makes me feel like the car isn't new anymore.
