Newbie detailing advice

Well a thumbs up from me too for FK :thumb:
Put a thin coat on and it's easy on easy off, and i think it leaves a great finish.
The tin is gonna last me years too :D

I have been trying to find out how to send you a "pm" MDC250, but although I've looked in the FAQs, I can't seem to see the right button to press.

I am in PR4, and although at present not able to wash my car as I'm on crutches, I think it's a very good idea to group purchase, and you clearly have some experience of good products, which I certainly have not!

If you see an electric green, very elderly, SLK while driving locally it is sure to be me, so give a wave or a flash of the lights?

Regards, Lisa

You won't be able to PM until you reach 30 posts. No doubt he will see your post and PM you!

Thank you GiantVanMan, I hadn't realised that! I do hope he does.

Unfortunately until you have requisite number of posts I can't even PM you. Get posting ;-)

Oh gosh, will try! But I know so little and the car is running so well in general. Thanks so much for responding, hope to pick your brain about things like glaze, polish, finishing, none of which I know the meaning of! I shall send welcomes to new members, seems the nicest way to get to the required level!

Regards,
Lisa

You know more than I did, had never heard of glazes etc before joining Detailing World forum!

Cleaning car meant going to Halfrauds and picking up Auto Glym gear or going to local hand wash. The latter I will never do again and only a few bits I will buy from the high street now :-)

I will have to speak to the guys here on mbclub about putting some stickys at the top of all topics of detailing simplified:)

Cheers
Mike

Holy Cow, I bet a lot of detailers will not have all that either !!
