My second post 18 more to go 😆

Hope someone here can help with a issue of bonnet catches, when opening and lever has returned to its position,

It's difficult to close again keeps springing up and catches don't hold until you wiggle the cables to catches and then it closes?

Thanks for your guidance would you need to remove cables to do that looks a involved job to do 🙁 have you had to do this in the past?

Perhaps the first and easiest thing to try is some WD40 on the two bonnet catches.
I'll give it a few aplication over the next couple of weeks thanks can't see any adjustments are there any??

Not to my knowledge. I had a problem with mine. I could open the bonnet but because one of the catches wouldn’t release, the cable wouldn’t re-tension. WD40 to the rescue…….sorted in 30 seconds and has been fine for months since. 👍🏻

Did you try WD40 at both ends before you went to cable replacement?

I found the outer cable plastic weather proofing had come away in one section so went for the new cable option, made sure cabin cable was well lubed while it was apart.

Lubed the safety catch to bonnet as that wasn't returning.
