Afternoon folks

I’ve just joined up after purchasing my 2011 E350cd Coupe. Sorry to come straight out with a question but I’m looking for some advice!!

My car does not appear to have any form of USB or AUX input. It has the comand system which shows the option for BT audio. The BT connects to my iPhone 7 for my phone however just tells me connection unsuccessful for audio.

I have searched on here as well as on google and can’t find a definite answer.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Thanks in advance

The guys who can answer your query are at Comand Online.
Give them a call with your Vin# handy and I'm sure they can assist.

Hi guys, spoke with Comand however they can’t assist as I’m in Scotland. Can anyone recommend any specialist in Scotland? Thanks

Did CoL advise that it should just be a firmware update though?
Dealers can do it.......
You can but only ask them

Its probably firmware. NTG4 Comand initially did not have bluetooth audio streaming because it didn't work. It got turned on with a firmware update (and 7 digit post-codes) but some people turned it on in engineering menu.
The first step would be to get a firmware update done.

Thanks very much gents. Will most Main Dealers be able to facilitate the firmware update?

All main dealer should be able to.

BTW, to have the full media port you need an option called Media Interface - you end up with a socket in the glovebox or arm-rest which is about the size of 2 USBs next to each other. But BT Audio streaming in your E class should work from the COMAND without that Media Interface option

Cheers
Richard

Superb Richard thanks again for the response,I will contact my main dealer!! Cheers again
