C220CDI Sport (COMAND) W204
Hi,

I recently joined the MBClub as a new member looking to purchase a W204 C220CDI Sport. After not much searching I have ended up with the following car below (see the pics):

Its a 57 plate C220CDI Sport auto with the following options: full leather, heated seats, COMMAND, telephone pre-wire. Its only done 24k. Picked it up from MB Skipton.

Already bought the 1st mod: Viseeo MB-2 bluetooth adapter. This works well with my HTC 7 Mozart handset:

I've also bought a OEM MB bootliner today from MB Milton Keynes.

Any comments/suggestions are most welcome.

Hello Kam
Welcome to the Forum and Congratulations on your Mercedes :thumb:

Hi Kam,nice pictures of your c class, welcome to the forum:thumb:

Hi Kam, welcome aboard and congrats on the car which looks great.

A couple of things:

Try to get into the habit of turning the wipers off completely rather than leaving them on the first auto position. If the car spends the night outside at this time of year a frosty screen first thing in the morning will do the wiper blades in a couple of sweeps when you turn on the ignition...

Also, check the engine oil at least every 3k or so miles. My W204 would use 1 - 1.5 litres between oil changes until it had done about 35k miles :thumb:

Bella macchina !

On Ilkla moor baht 'at!
Welcome to the forum from a fellow Yorkshireman. :thumb:

Hi Kam welcome to the forum :thumb: very nice car and great pictures

Thanks for the comments guys.

@ St13Phil- thanks for the advise. If I need to top up the engine oil what grade of oil should I be topping up with?

Welcome, not been here long myself. Depends what type of oil is in there at the moment, check the Service History, probably synthetic in which case Mobil1.

Anything that meets MB Spec Sheet 229.3 or 229.5 You don't need to use stuff meeting 229.31 or 229.51 because you don't have a DPF on that car. Personally, I use Castrol Edge.

Hi and welcome, I've got a black one of those, same year & spec but mines done 65,000!
