E280 cdi sport 2007
Hi all

I am the proud owner of a 2003 e270cdi avantgarde w211.
It has few extras, panoramic roof (I love it) /heated front and rear leather/ drivers full electric seat & passenger half.
First few days and I'm loving it, economy on motorway seems excellent. 320 miles on £45.

A few queries if you could help me:

C/S on the gearbox?

Which engine oil is correct, and how do you check the level. The oil was changed few weeks ago and it shows that It will need changing in about 8k miles, for me that will probably be a year+ so am I ok leaving it that long time wise.

Antifreeze/coolant is blue I think and ECP do this TRIPLE QX Mercedes-Benz Blue Ready Mixed Antifreeze/Coolant - 1ltr | Euro Car Parts UK?s No.1 Car Parts Retailer
Is this the correct one if I just use this as it is.

I'm used to a phatnoise system in my passat so haven't burnt CDs etc for a long while. I don't think there's any way of connecting this to the mercedes unit. So does the changer only play standard CDs not mp3 format?

Can't seem to connect my phone via Bluetooth it says function not available

What are the main things I need to be aware of to adjust via the setting on dash menu

Spare remote batteries are dead, are they expensive and will remote need reprogramming once batteries have been changed.

Any other tips or hints that would help me enjoy this beast.

Thanks in advance everyone.

C= Comfort
S = Standard

In "S" the car pulls away in first gear and hangs on to the gears a bit longer. In C it pulls away in second..

If you have the bluetooth adapter inside the centre arm rest you're quids in, unfortunately not many come with them in and although all of them have the steering wheel buttons, not all of them have the kit installed.

If you want to check oil in the old school way you may need to buy a "Service Dipstick" (but you might want to check at the tube in case a PO already has... otherwise you do it through the display.. But check it a couple of times in different temperatures and on the flat - it's not always all that accurate..

I'm afraid i can't help witht he other things I've only had mine about 8 weeks :-)

Cheers mate
No adapter I think, in the bottom armrest storage compartment there a couple of yellow/orange LEDs not sure what they are for.

Checked oil via the dash setting seems ok.
Which model you buy?

In the owners Manual
C= comfort (for extra traction)
S=sport (for all normal driving conditions)
