Hi guys new to this forum and it seems like a great place with good people !! Anyways been looking into purchasing a 07 E63, now it's a nice car with a great spec but how you do you tell if it's got the Peformance pack, it's got 2 piece discs but apart from that ???

Cheers Dan

Welcome to the forum Dan.
I believe its the 2 piece discs and red calipers that the PP has.

Try and find out what the engine number is and if its pre 50568, find out if the head bolts have been swapped out. This is one of the weak points of the early 63 engines.

If you have the reg# or Vin# the datacard showing the options fitted can be produced.

Thanks for the reply, makes sense this one has silver calipers but the big old 2 piece discs, shall have to check up on the head bolts, is a bit of a worry did read up that it was an issue up till 2010 !!?

Where would I have to look to find the opitions I know the ref plate,
Cheers again !

If you have the Reg #, put it into THIS site to get your Vin#

Then go to THIS site and put in the Vin number and your datacard will be decoded.

Edit..The datacard will also show your engine number so you can see if it comes in the affected ones for rusting head bolts.

Blimey that Car Info website is brilliant, found out options that I didn't realise it had ! Ref the engine the engine number is 156983 60 013063 so I'm correct me if I'm wrong it's post head bolts issue ??
Cheers again for the info

Yep, I think your safe with that engine number.:bannana:

I would check that again,

"From doing some searching The affected engines are any engine serial number less than 569xx 60 060658."

Thanks for that. Sorry to the OP I got the engine # wrong. I shouldn't rely on my memory:doh:
