Nice 'Cabbie'

I would! It is a nice car, but expensive. I think he wants 10K. Though it would look nice in my driveway:-)

I much prefer some of the other cars he is selling. Weird though that he is selling a LHD car in this country, but some RHD cars in France?

Not sure what my favourite one is, as they all look very nice.

Austin Healy 3000??

John

He's had it for a while now, I think it's going to be relatively hard to shift.

The wheels do it no favours, IMO. Also, it's a 300-24, but it's facelifted. The 320 came out before the facelift, not after. That means this has been updated. Even the interior

There's a blanked-off switch on the centre console.

Oh, and 112,000km is 69.5k miles, not 67.

If my maths serve me right than it is 67k miles:

112000/1.67 = 67,065 miles:D

I'm afraid your maths serve you wrong :)

112000/1.61 = 69,565 miles

Your maths relies on 1mile = 1.67km, whereas it's actually 1.61.

This is why 0-60 times are now quoted as 0-100kph OR 0-62.1mph

W124 cabs carry a hefty premium and were rare back in the 90s - I agree though that they are priced ridiculously high and I have seen some advertised for £24K...

Bloke over the road bought one for his Mrs quite recently.

He reckons he was very close to a really good SLC but was afraid of the age thing.

Am bit narked as next door neighbor has chopped his MB in for a bl Lexus two door doo-dah. We are down to five Mercs between four houses now :(

Most specialists advertise W124 cabs for the £17K mark I have seen from a bit of browsing - there is always some nut out there that will pay these crazy prices that has the money...

Still pretty much the best car of it's type ever made.

I do not like the shape. too old fashioned for my taste.
