Can't remember the last time I saw a car with a speedo that only goes to 100mph.

Hope this goes to a good home.

Engines don't get much simpler than that..

The only foible being the simplex timing chain.

Just how slow is it? 70bhp? I had a E300D Auto with only 100bhp or something and that didn't bother me.

well with a manual its just about bareable... but very slow off start... very unrefined too..

5 speed manual is a great box though..

I've got one of them!

Although it's a matter of debate which would be faster flat out - my old Fiat Panda or that 240D. Safe to say neither of them stand a chance of going off the clock..
