I was just coming back from Mercedes in Coventry with parts for my latest mod when I went round a roundabout, not particularly fast, and heard a thud which seemed to be coming from my boot. There was nothing in my boot at the time, so I thought nothing of it. Just before I hit another corner I realised my bass had suddenly stopped working. Coming out through the corner, again, not particularly fast, I heard another thud... Mortified as to the picture I'd see upon opening the boot I rushed home, pulled into my drive, opened up the back, and sure enough, there was my sub lying there, on its face, live and earth disconnected!!
I tipped it back up on its right side to see minor scratches on the sub face, nothing too drastic, I was more worried about it working. Hurridly, I reconnected earth first, live second, switched on my head, and breathed a sigh of relief as I felt it kick. That'll teach me to be stingy with the velcro. I've since stuck loads on. It's adhering to the box as I type. I was lucky... I got away with minor battle scars. Use velcro, and lots of it!
