As description, my recently purchased c270 cdi 203 dosen't warn me about the parking brake being on and never has. I had noticed that there was a of of travel on the parking brake so I have serviced the system and adjusted everything.

I think a naughty previous owner was getting the old parking warning light staying on and disabled the warning switch. Can anyone tell me where its located?

The switch is on the foot pedal bracket. Sometimes the pedal doesn't retract far enough to operate it when released. Try hooking your foot under the pedal and pulling it all the way back while the release handle is operated.

Ignore what i said above about hooking your foot under it. That only works if you actually have a switch and it won't turn off :o

Yes, it's at the top of the bracket that holds the pedal assembly. Stick your head under there and you should see the wires.

Thanks mate, had a crack at it tonight and the switch was next to the bracket (not in the hole) and a wire was disconnected.

Excellent.

Glad you got it sorted.
