Hi All, I have a CLK 230 2003 Cabriolet. I have an issue of 'no' rear lights (no indicators, brake lights, side lights reverse lights, in fact zero else other than one number plate light, that's it on rear of car, fronts all working ok though. I have looked at the obvious things like fuses and visible earth wires but can't see anything obvious.
I have tried to do some research and have a read a post which says there is supposed to be a big earth on the drivers side (RHD CAR) but I can't see a big earth there. Anyway when I measure earths to the SAM module in the boot it is ok. There is a thick red live feed into the SAM module, which is also ok reading +12v.
Any thing else to check/test before blaming the SAM module in the boot?
The right number plate light only has 2 volts to it and obviously doesn't light up, but other one is working fine.
ALL would be appreciated.
