Noisey Auto Gear Box

Hi, I'm new to this site and forum, so apologise if the thread already exists as I can't find it. My auto gearbox all of a sudden seems to be making a terrible noise in first gear. Does anybody know what this is and/how to fix it????

would need more detail re the car model, which engine, how many gears
year etc

putting up the full VIN would be good.

Aug 2010, still technically a ten reg. auto with tiptronic petrol engine, 180 Kompressor. Can't get full VPN as currently away, does this help any??

Does it only do it in first. Does the noise stop completely as soon as it changes into second

Surely if it is August 2010 then it is still under warranty, just take it into your local stealers and have them fix any problem
