Noisy Brakes

Hi all,

My E280 is making a lot of squealing noises when I use the brakes. My car has now done 15,000 miles and is on a 56 plate.

Any idea how many miles brakes should normally last before replacement ?

If they don't need replacement then can I spray something through the alloys to stop the high pitched squealing ?

if you stop breaking at all it might help. That way no squeals.

Just give it a good jet wash. you might have dust trapped there if you have been on a dusty road. or you can use copper grease on the pads

MB say that the grease should only be applied to the piston face
