Great to Meet some new people today, and some old mates!
Lovey weather, keeping in convoy was always gunna be hard but we tried, Sunday drivers shouldn’t be on the road don’t they know who we are.... haha.....
Gorgeous cars as always but Alex’s CL600 is one sharp looking car...!

To everyone that made it today , big thank you for coming , some great cars and fantastic people made it a memorable day out. I’m glad everyone had a good time and it was great to put faces to names. I hope we can do more Northern Meetups later this year.

The drive out was always going to be a bit of a challenge due to some tricky junctions to negotiate but hopefully we managed to keep it all together. Thankfully the road up Holme Moss was pretty clear of traffic and was a nice drive and chance to open up the motors

I’ll post some pictures over the next few days, once again thanks for coming and let’s have some suggestions for future Northern meetings, apparently I’ve now been nominated as Northern Organiser

If you have an iPhone email the photos to yourself and you get the option to choose a smaller file size, then save them onto your phone, there may be other ways but it works for me.

It was a nice drive , a bit tricky making sure we kept together, I think we just about managed it. The view from the top of Holme Moss was impressive.

Thank John. Great to meet up. I thought the route would be enjoyable but was always going to be a bit tricky to keep everyone together. Hopefully we managed. The next one will be over the North Yorkshire Moors where the junctions are less of a problem but sheep are the biggest worry.

Great to meet up again Lee, hope you can make Shildon. The Strines are definitely better in an A45, but Paul managed to bottom his out somewhere, think he was trying to catch a C63

Lovely day for a drive out, see some quality cars, have a decent breakfast and get dragged around IKEA. Saving grace is that the Mercedes AMG and Porsche dealers are just across the road.

Glad you and your wife enjoyed the day out , hope IKEA was not too painful. The Waterwheel looks good , we’re going to go check it out in the C63 later today. Looks like lots of car clubs use it as venue, could be one for an AMG meeting
