Hi ALL,

So I have a 2002 W211 E CLASS with command 20 cassete (+6 cd changer) that has M.O.S.T fiber optic cabeling in my car ---NO Bluetooth,no phone,no dvd, and no Harmoon Kardon speakers.

So here IS MU QUESTION, Is it possible to convert my NT1 wiring into NTG2.5 And the putting in any aftermarket double din??? I'm not bothered of loosing steering wheel controls,or 6cd changer. I just want an after market double din in my car.

I saw few pictures that there is some sort of adapters that run from the back(amplifier) to front, and then you get an ISO connector-and youre done???:dk:

Is that true,is it possible,is it hard, how much it costs? HAS ANYONE DONE THAT??? PLEASE

Is that's what it's called dynavin afaik? As much is I heard they're costly, and I don't know about the sound quality, I'm pretty sure Alpine or Pioneer would out perform dynavin???

Anyone knows dynavin , are they any good,in any way, most importantly sound quality???

But we moved away from the real question /subject

Thanks all

Just buy Dynavin, AFAIK they don't need any wiring mods + all factory options (wheel steering etc.) works.

Not in a car with NTg1 they dont! all the power/speaker/antenna wiring is in the boot, not at the front. Plus the quality of Dynavin stuff is very very poor.

To be fair, they come with the loom to connect up to the factory fittings in the boot so it may be a little bit more work to route the cables but they don't need actual 'mods', same as fitting an NTG2.5.

Can't comment on the quality as I have no more experience than what Google offers and there are lovers and haters. It's always the UI that's put me off them but that has improved on the latest version, still no oil painting but the MB ones are pretty rubbish too though thankfully rather less colourful.

I was all for ripping my NTG1 out when I got it but didn't bother straight away and got used to its foibles so am sticking with it.

Right guys,

Done my reaserch (4+weeks) spoke to people....its kinda easy..

Because my NTG1 has not bluetooth, sat nav ,etc and etc...so my one its quite easy.

Get a ntg2.5 wiring loom, run it throught the car to the back, connect everything(not hard, plug in and play) ,same in the front, get an ISO adapter for ntg2.5 ...and baam....job done. :_)

Going to do that,in few weeks :)
