In the compass on the comand NTG2.5 the direction is at 30deg and does not move, should it or am I missing something

Thanks for the reply.
So how do we fix this, I am not on my own as another guy asked me, thats how I found it does not work also in mine.

I have had issues with my ntg2.5 from day 1. Keeps jumping off the road into fields and the road never tracked straight - when travelling along a straight road, the image of the road on the screen would always sit at about 11 Oclock.

After a couple of trips to the dealer and 18months later I had a poke around an noticed the voltages on the yaw sensor inputs were not equal. It went back to the dealer and they reset the yaw sensor and steering angle sensor. Things are much better now. Still jumps into fields but recovers faster now - they are due to replace the entire head unit this week.

It seems these sat navs will navigate without a decent satellite fix. Once it has found your position on a road, it will navigate from yaw sensor and all four wheel speed sensors. - it will track you around an underground carpark from the wheel sensors.

Start with checking the wheel and yaw inputs - enginering mode and go for a drive. Yaw should both be equal (2.5v) and all four wheel inputs equal whilst driving along a straight road.

Interesting idea, I will look at that thanks for the reply.
