Number Plates

Yup mines a 2003. Is it an on the spot fine or do you just get told to change them?

More like giving the game away, really .

Should you get caught you will need to fork out £60 with an on the spot fine and be asked to change them immediately. Not worth the fine I would say. There are some legal styles you can do however such as 3D lettering and borders

It's a £30 on the spot fine or the potential for £1000 at court.

I should know, i've issued enough. :D

You missed this one:rolleyes:

I have not edited the photo at all, apart from reducing the size. I saw this van when I picked 1 of the lorries up after a service.

If you have a "cherished" number and persist in being caught for illegal plates then the DVLA can remove your cherished number and replace it with an age-related one.

Guess your very lucky then A210AMG with that plate

An ex policeman I spoke to said for them aslong as it was legible from such a such distance then they don't tend to bother, I also had that or very similar font on my previous plate, never got stopped....;)

my local police have also said to me they dont generally bother unless its really illegible, they said they only knew of one or two officers that would be hard enough to stop someone otherwise...
