Hi all

With any luck the long-running saga of me leasing some commercial premises is going towards completion.

I need to kit out the portacabin, but do it on the cheap, therefore if anyone has some furniture thats been replaced, or knows smeone, please give me a shout.

Despite their 'cardboard' reputation, ikea knock up some half decent goods, I have got my office kitted out with a few of their bits and its reasonable money too. Even cheaper on ebay, for example:

from experience freecycle.org specially if u r prepared to travel to collect u will find loads of freebies which are not too bad, i got my daughter trampoline the other day and she use 3 or 4 times a day

Firms who are 'refreshing' their furniture normally have to pay to have the old stuff removed. Try speaking to a couple of local office fitout companies. You may just drop in lucky.

On the most recent office moves that I have managed my clients have completely renewed their furniture and had real problems disposing of the old, but serviceable stuff.

I do have a client who are skipping a fair amount of desking in 3 weeks time. If you are interested let me know and I will see what I can do. It will need collecting from Doncaster though....

Arrggghhhh!!!!! We've just (literally, this morning!) finished breaking up and skipping the last bits of furniture from our old site having moved to a new site and renewed all our furniture. 100+ desks, chairs, cabinets, tambour units, etc. Sorry

Was going to recommend them too. Their stuff comes from large companies. Alot of the stuff wont even be more than a year old and it will be good quality furniture.

This lot came from greenworks

The chairs were £5 each and the desk cost £46

All newish and I though very presentable.

Is Guildford too far. I can prob get a metal double door cupboard. (shelves missing but has brackets) and a 1000 base unit type under bench cupboard (blue). Bit scuffed as we just moved em to yard but could clean up nicely.

John, -- I don't know if this will be of any help but on the M 4 just Past Swindon Westbound is a large trailor in a feild with an advertisment for cheap used office furniture, if anyone from that area could make a note of the Web Site advertised it might be what you are looking for.
