I am surprised no-one is making an offer on the car. E55s are for long term use, even if you wanted to get another lower mileage engine in it, you can buy one for les than £3k. Not that there would be anything wrong with that. Its full service history as well. Looks like a good car.

Confused.... He cant sell it because of the high mileage but yet he wants to sell the engine? I think hes up to something.

Like generators (and some naval ship engines), the engines will have counters for the number of hours it's been operational Service intervals can then be based on the operational hours since the last service and you thought the dealership was expensive... just wait until you see the bill for the SS Voyager or the Enterprise...

No quite hes got another 4 hours then it goes into the 24hour zone where supposedly it cant be removed from sale, but it can be if its becomes unfit for sale accident or not as described etc.

Bloke at work did this with a motorbike he sold as the guy paid him cash he told e bay was unfit for sale and couldnt be sold he didnt have to pay any fees.

I think thats a large part of the reason why e bay now insist you have to take paypal payments to stop this happening.
