Loving the car at the moment, apart from one silly but ANNOYING niggle - a damn squeak is driving me potty..! :wallbash:

Seems to be coming from the load cover area, passenger side - anyone else experienced this and perhaps know of an easy / cheap fix..? (apart from removing the load cover :rolleyes:)

Has become worse as the weather has got a little colder...

try spraying all moving parts & areas of contact with silicone spray - won't harm plastic, won't dry - get it most places like Halfords
 
Bash the loadcover off the 2/3 seat. It slides out sideways, can't remember with way. But it's a heavy old lump.
Spray a bit of lube on the rack mounts and pop it back in again, and see if this helps. It it is this, a little grease on here wouldn't hurt
 
Had an E Class estate with a squeak, it was the boot cover cartridge metal clip mounted on the back of the seat. It usually dissappeared during the winter and returned in the spring :D
