Hi I can't find how to check the oil level through the dash on my c63 58 plate ,and the deep stick as 2 marks , can anyone give me a hand with this?
Thanks in advance!

Use the dipstick - top mark is max and bottom is min.

1.5 litres is the difference between the two, as I recall.

I don't think there is an indicator on the dash, other than a message to ask you to top up.

so in the deep stick you have a plastic bit at the end and then metal and again a plastic bit and metal again and a as tic bit at the end !
So I use the upper part of it?? :wallbash:

Has the computer Oil Level Check gone then?

I can't find it on my new (2009) CLK, although it was there on all my previous cars.

Anyone know for definite and, if so, why?

Oh dear....Level should be as below which is in between the 2 top marks :

Only the dipstick to check oil level on my previous 2007 C220CDI and 2011 E350CDI, my wife's 2009 SLK350 or my current 2012 E63.

Suspect the computer level check was deleted either for cost or reliability reasons.

Thanks. Seems like it's back to oily rags!
