Hi again guys...

If the malfunction keeps showing up as too much oil (faulty sensor) can this be unplugged by a garage as i have a dipstick to give me a reading instead?

Many thanks all

James Haydon

Are you sure it is a faulty sensor?

Normally its when the engine heats up, the oil expands and it then triggers an overfill.

As spike says. I expect you have too much oil in it.

But, he did say he has a dipstick...so maybe a faulty sensor, or, the usual where the best thing is to fill to just below the max to stop getting this constantly.
