Good morning.

I was browsing my old garage and found this wood steering wheel I purchased when I had a W123 Coupe.

It has corresponding wheel hub adaptor, made by Nardi with Mercedes stamps. How can I know which car is a good match for it?

Hub pictures are from an eBay listing asking almost £600 for the steering wheel. Are they really that valuable?

Sorry can't advise, but Wow, 600? Wish I had the hub as I have a leather version of that exact wheel.

In short no.....one sold on Gumtree for £120 last week which is about right. I am looking for one for my SL but will not pay stupid price for one.

In the US they ask big money on eBay but they don't sell, they are continuously re-listed.

Some do get sold. Not everyone has time to search.

Speaking of stupid prices, the Becker Exquisit sells for over £200. I have one made by Panasonic, which is harder to find. Using this principle, mine should be over £400, right?

In which case why ask the question if you know the value and are after a stupid price.... you have obviously done your homework try £1500 and see how you go....

Just saying I have seen plenty sell for well under £200 and seen many listed for the above price usually in the U.S.

With that information to hand I'd be inclined to list it on eBay.com rather than .co.uk and offer international shipping.

Use a buy it now listing with a "best offer" facility and see if anyone bites.

That wheel right there is a newer model, which retails for £200. So paying almost the same for a used one, might not be a good deal.

Can anyone contribute with some pictures of his steering wheel? At least we can see several installs.

Nice bargains on ebay.uk, while on ebay germany you get headaches.
