Some mates went down to a pub in Twickenham yesterday, I was supposed to join them but was feeling a bit Moby so decided not to. Got a picture from them on Facebook, someone hadn't taken the tide into consideration..

Knowing me, I probably would have parked next to it so perhaps just as well I didn't go after all.

How much higher does the water level get? At the moment you only need to paddle in ankle deep water. I'd wait until it was waste deep and then take another picture with the car owner having to swim to their car.

That's no problem, it's only over the tyres. There was one the other week of a Passat fully under.

Won't get much higher than that in Twickers. We are on spring tides at the moment.

Always good to pop down to Water Lane or to the White Cross in Richmond on a big tide and watch the cars go glug. No one ever pays attention to the signs 'THIS AREA IS SUBJECT TO TIDAL FLOODING' ...... never do.
