opening the boot and cabins lights...

Hello, Odd question: When you open the boot on a E300 TD, does the light in the cabin/interior of the car come on like when you open a door or not at all? Not talking about the boot light.
Just wondering as I need to look at some wiring...

There must be some people here who own a E300TD and they could tell me if when they open the boot the cabin lights up as well as the boot or not?

this used to happen in my W202's which i had quite a few from new and the same thing.

Just the rear overhead light in the roof?

I don't have this car but it should light up the D-pillar interior lights along with the tailgate ambient lamp when you open the trunk lid.
