Opinions on What to do!

Quick thought process:

Our ML 270CDI is getting a bit tired and to be honest is no town car, but not unusable for us:

thoughts;

1, Keep it until it dies.
2, Replace now with small efficient town car (our mileage is very low and MPG would be advantageous)
3, At a later date buy a big old E300TD estate with intersteller mileage on it for any distance runs.

Thoughts - is it a long term saving to swap out now or just run the ML until it dies?

Ml is worth about £7k - 90K on the clock and FSH.

Depending upon our winter it could be handy.

Or indeed sell it in Winter as the price maybe better?

If you don't need the size of the ML probaably as well selling it, it will cost more to service as the brakes / 4wd system could be costly.

The thing is, in reallity is losing very little now and what ever you swap it for you don't know the history.

The fact you have though about swapping I guess does mean its days are numbered.
