Standard:

After mod:

opinions required as i'm not 100% sure. If it wasn't for the chrome it would be a no no!

Too much wood!

Here's an "artist's impression":

Damn thats good. Anyway you are spot on, i think it is too much wood and will spoil the overall appearance. I still may be tempted by the chrome rings though!

I think it's quite nice, and compliments the steering wheel, but it's all down to personel taste isn't it. I was looking at those on German Ebay, but decided not to risk trying to take the speedo binacle out myself. :o

The chrome rings, yes. The wood, no. If you could just get the chrome surounds on their own that would look

The wood looks a bit too much. However, the chrome rings look great. If they are available, where can I get some for my Dads car.

I reckon the chrome rings will do the bizz, don't need the wood - it is perhaps a bit OTT - although I don't dislike it, just thing it's verging on too much shine when dials look better with a matt surround - imho (other than the chrome of course ;) )

Chrome ring available from ebay:

I am with the general feeling here. Wood no but rings yes, just looks better IMHO

The chrome rings look great, the wood does not.

At the end of the day it's your choice though. ;)

With the all wood option - it looks like a Rover.

I would go chrome rings only.
