Damn thats good. Anyway you are spot on, i think it is too much wood and will spoil the overall appearance. I still may be tempted by the chrome rings though!

I think it's quite nice, and compliments the steering wheel, but it's all down to personel taste isn't it. I was looking at those on German Ebay, but decided not to risk trying to take the speedo binacle out myself.

The wood looks a bit too much. However, the chrome rings look great. If they are available, where can I get some for my Dads car.

I reckon the chrome rings will do the bizz, don't need the wood - it is perhaps a bit OTT - although I don't dislike it, just thing it's verging on too much shine when dials look better with a matt surround - imho (other than the chrome of course )

The chrome rings look great, the wood does not.

At the end of the day it's your choice though.
