Hi all,

I bought my car (C43 AMG) with a 'modern' Pioneer radio/CD player in it that has impossibly small buttons and it glows and flashes red and blue like a major police incident, even when it's off!
All I need is radio 2 and preferably a minijack socket for an ipod.

What would the original radio have been please, or even just a reasonable spec one from any later W202?

Cheers...!

Hi.

I've just taken one of the above out of my writted off S210 (2003)

Its a guaranteed fully working "Audio 10 CD" with code!

Let me know if you'd like it - make me an offer!

Ready to be posted!
Pic below.

Cheers.

Tim

Hi Timster, thanks for that. I have PMd you with an offer.

Cheers!

When I bought my first MB new in '93, radio's were "extra" and dealers usually had a selection of Blaupunkt radios to choose from. I chose a "Boston" iirc.

Thanks to all, now I have one coming, thanks to Timster!
Luckily, IanA2, I still have a 1950s application form for a car radio licence, tucked into my 1955 AA Handbook. One day I may do the motor equivalent of Michael Portillo's railway travel thing, and see how many of the old main roads, from the maps, and AA listed hotels I can find and stay at.

I still have a few of the old AA keys. Sad:dk:
