I knew I preferred the Sports kit on the CLK, (I had a convertible with it) but I hadn't registered how much the rear, under bumper section from the rear wheel back made the improvement.

Don't point it out to the wife, just my view....

We've come to the decision that hers is more feminine than mine which suits us just fine.
I love them both.

Headlight Washers Not Working - MBWorld.org Forums

I have already tried this, pulled out the washer jest and slightly lub'd them, nothing seized. found and checked the fuse all OK there. No sound from the pump just a slight dip in the revs. Blocked water lines maybe?

Purple rear tint?

The previous owner had the car tinted (which is what Karl is referring to) I had the tint removed by ‘The Tint Shop’ in Birmingham in-order to return the car to factory spec

The standard Avantgarde glass has a slightly bluish tint as seen in the pics

... I kind of realised that there might have been some kind of 'pimp my ride' aftermarket stuff on the windows after reading it a few times. Glad you took it off Abs, could not have lived with that!

As an addendum to the above,
I've now replaced the headlight washer pump and cleaned out the nozzles etc. All working perfectly again.
And as can be read in a separate thread, I've just had the wheels refurbished by the brilliant 'The Wheel Specialist' in Inverness.
Oh yeah, it's also covered from headlight to taillight in ceramic coating. Thoroughly enjoying our CLK ownership, the pair of us. They make you feel special every time you drive in them and mine gets alot of admiring glances. (they both do)

One of the (if not THE) best looking Mercedes in recent years imho, and well screwed together and reliable ime.
Yours looks fantastic.
