Bought from main dealer.

Privatetly owned and payed for outright.

Will be seviced at MB for first 12 months.

:bannana: And I love it. :bannana:

The Coupe was bought privately and is maintained by me. :bannana:

However it is on my companies book for insurance purposes.

Both privately owned.
But I pay Road Tax, Insurance, servicing, repairs and even the fuel through my company.

Alex.

Hi

Both our estates were bought privately no hp etc and are serviced by me:D .

230K

Bought mine outright, (ex demonstrator) in June.
initial plan was to find a good independant for all servicing & any other work required. But Mercedes dealer never mentioned Mobilolife when I bought it, only reading this forum has made me aware of it. After reading about rust issues being repaired & 30 year cover, I'm beginning to think main dealer servicing might not be so bad afterall. May well do so to start with after checking all wear and tear items are replaced before hand.

Mine is privately owned, and is fully dealer stamped at the moment but now out of warranty. I think I'll go to an Indie when the next service is due in about 2 months or so.

Again 2 both privately owned (and paid for!)
Serviced MB, one on Service Plus

Privately owned and serviced by MB Direct. Never go to MB Retail, not even for a fuse.
Can see the day when the independant specialist becomes the way forward.

My cars are privatley owned, but I would be quite happy to tell you they were a private lease or a company vehicle if they were. I don't see that anyone would have anything to hide. You could argue a personal lease to be the wise finacial choice.

early days but yet to see one ..... ups there it is again

Looking at the results so far it is highly lightly that precious few company owned MB owners bother frequenting this or any other forum. When someone else pays the bill why bother!!

On the occasions I do book my car into the main dealer I make sure they know that the car is mine. Hopefully that helps but who knows!

Took the car allowance, bought a cheap (but not too cheap) S-class as an experiment to see if it would be cheaper to run than the fully expensed E-class that I could have had on the scheme.

Have always brought 5+ year old cars (and often run them into the ground) - so never even gave a company car a thought, took the cash as soon as I qualified for it.

Brought the merc outright (only £3600 anyway) - has twelve months warrantly so need to get it serviced at the garage I got it from at the moment. After that it will be maintained by me - with the occasional visit to an indie - which is basically the way all of our cars have been run.

Opted for A, but do get a car allowance - I just don't associate it with my car. Should I have answered B?

Same here, but I did vote B.

The allowance is basically a salary extension that does not get included on bottom line % salary, bonus and hourly rate caluclations. However, it does show I chose to run a private car over a basic company car.

Needed to tick two of them.

I've opted out of a company car and taken out a loan to buy my own, so I went for the opted out button

You voted correctly. Option 1 is for a private car funded any way you like other than a lease contract.

Option two is the same vote, but you are recognising you opted out of a car scheme.

I'd really like the private lease voters to tell us more. Something I have always been interested in.

Don't forget that the poll started on a Sunday. You might well find that a lot of the users of company vehicles access the site from work. It will be interesting to see if the mix changes over the next few days.

BTW, my car is privately owned. Wanted a Merc all my life but waited until I could afford the right one.
