clk 350 sport
Had my clk 350 sport for two weeks now and today gave it it's first long run about 2 miles from home engine managment light came on and made it home .Called mercedes 24 service and they had a mechanic with me within 1 hour he done his fault diagnosis and told me it was one of the sensors and put the light out and car was okay to drive.Having concerns about this as it happened to me before on a previous car and damaged cat.Your opinions on this please.

Short journeys can lead to a build up of crud on the Lambda tip which can cause the EML light to come on. Now that your light has been re-set then continue to monitor it and if it comes on again, then its looking likely that you may have to re-new your Lambda Sensor (O2 Sensor).

If you do, make sure you replace with a genuine item or a Bosch or NGK sensor...cheap Lambda sensors are a waste of time.
