p reg fiat punto

Dearly beloved daughter has a p reg fiat punto - has an oil leak - father in law has garage put it on the ramp and found out that the sump has rusted through never heard of this b4 - i know fiats have a history of rust but the SUMP !!!
anyone know a breakers where we might get a replacement- dealer wants about £80 for one apparently

A number of cars with steel sumps do indeed rust through.

Do a search either in Autotrader or ebay to find breakers.

P.s. No fiat for the last 15 Years has any issue with rust, so body rust shouldn't be an issue.
