Thought I would share how I have suffered for weeks and now feel slightly embarrassed, but it may help someone else with OAP moments.

Shortly after buying my gorgeous ML55 the left hand parking sensor was constantly on. Driving me nuts turning it off every time I started the engine. I noticed what I thought was a stone chip so I brought some wet and dry paper and a touch up ink. No success.
Tonight I decided to mask the front and spray the sensor - start the engine and brilliant left side working but right side sensors come on. Don't believe it!! Get out to have a look, well it's obvious now!!
I brought some new personalised plates and as I couldn't for the life of me remove the original I double sided sticky taped it on. Yes you got it, one side had a curve on it setting off the sensor, when I masked the left side it popped up the right.
Yes, you can stop laughing now!!! Thanks
