I need to fit a hands free kit into an A class and i have been recommended a Parrot CK3100
Has anyone had any experience of this unit and is it a do it yourself fit or does it need to be done by the dealer

I've got it, had it for a few years now, I think about 5 years, still going strong.
I think it's better than the Bury that some on here recommend and is what my dad has.

Installing can be DIY, best not be a novice though. It plugs in in between your cars speakers via the plugs on the car, then it's a matter of routing cables etc.

i fitted one in the c250 in about 30 mins

I had mine fitted in the ash tray (as you can see in my gallery) and I integrated the steering wheel buttons recently. I love it-great bit of kit:)

I must be blind/stupid. I can't see it? I followed the link in your sig but nothing showing something in the ciggy tray.

Parrot = brilliant!

If you are in the Essex area or thereabouts I can recommend a good fitter who has fitted stuff for all our cars for about 6 years now

I couldn't either.

Thanks for all the info
It will be getting a parrot based on the feedback
Thanks again

As a matter of interest, what kit did you use to integrate with the steering wheel? I have been thinking about this for a while but have been confused by the various Connects2 kits and Parrots own kits...a part number would be good (I think you have the facelifted W203 C class like me)

I can't mount my display properlly (stuck on with bluetak at the mo) as I've lost the brackets and can't get anymore, tried the 'net but haven't actually phoned Parrot direct.

Had one fitted to my 32///amg some two three years ago, it works just fine even with the roof down. If you are not handy with wires and trim removal, pay the 30 quid and have it done by a man/woman who can.:)
