Part No for 2000 CLK55 AMG air filter

Exactly right! Drifts are a given....

Still have the silly light on though!

Nice car mate. wheels look really nice, its rare to see SL wheels on a CLK! Did you have to modify anything to fit the SL AMG wheels on there?

You're not the first to assume they're SL wheels. They're not! The offset is completely different. We had a bugger of a job tracing them. It turns out that they were specially produced for MB by BBS - have their own MB part number and are pretty much irreplacable. That's why I spent a few bob splitting them and having them reconditioned. I have the factory build spec that includes wheel arches etc...

I'm 99.9% convinced that they are the SL AMG wheels for the R129 SL. They are as you said made by BBS, they are still available from MB. Should be ET25 all round.

Did you have these wheels fitted or were they on the car when you bought them? I am interested to know whether you needed to modify anything to make them fit? What size tyres are you running? Thanks

Sorry, I don't have the time for a prolonged debate. Unfortunately, the 0.1% allowance you made wasn't enough. They're ET30s on the rear. They were special order. It is a factory special. Have fun!
