i went to local MB dealer to get new fuel sender unit (£105) for my w202 as it was due for MOT ... and they told me that i have to book for 1 hour diagnostic then they will b able to tell me if i needed that .... and at the same time he told me that my car will not pass MOT so they persuaded me to buy a new car as it had a large number of issues .... then i left and went for MOT and it passed ... but the mot man told me it was a nice clean car and just needed a bit of attention outside as the wheel arch had some rust ... i went to a friends body shop and had to strip out body panel and rust shot blast ..... and im goin to spend some time on it....i will report at each stage ....
