pc acting wierd need a bit of help

I used to get something silimar, try switching off the PC, switch off the router/modem (or router and then modem,depending on your connection) and boot back in that order. Make sure you leave the items off for at least a minute and give the modem/router plenty of time (perhaps 3-5 minutes) to start up and connect back to the net.

ok i mabout to try the safe mode today when i booted up i was greated with this msg

RunDLL xdcipves.dll

modual could not be found

anyway il post back with what happens after safe mode

onyl firewall i use in the Windows one but i ahve turned it off but still no luck..

have you got a firewall on your router?

same here i tried google ect. but that is the exact msg???

pk so now when i try to open steam i get this error msg

"unable to connect to server Server may be offline or you may not be connected to the internet"
"Unable to connect to HTTP proxy your proxy may be Misconfigured or offline"

but the thing is my laptop conencts to steam which means its not steams fault and i can connect to the internet.. ? so im still stumped

Glad you got it sorted, no need for a proxy for Zune though, latest software works fine without Just need US billing address for marketplace & Zune pass

I have a US bank account (my 18 mth old daughter is a US citizen which helps with that one ) so I just use that & top up the account via Paypal when needed! You can also get them from these guys though Zune HD, Microsoft Zune Accessories - ZuneThings pretty good service too, bought a case from them and only took a couple of days.
