Sorry pal, just don't like (perceived) pontificating or preaching.
I am also prepared to stand my ground.
If people get upset, that's unfortunate, but there is never an intention to offend.
Sometimes people get uppity when they read/ hear answers to statements or questions they don't like, which can escalate the situation into a bunfight.
I'm also not averse to taking the piss when the opportunity arises which can shake fragile egos.
I've sold cars for over 30 years and for 2 reasons, have never told porkies to sell a car.
Firstly, if I tell the truth , if ever a customer comes back accusing me of something I can prove what I said.
Secondly, you need to have an exceptionally good memory to be a liar. I don't, except on stupid irrelevant things like old phone numbers, registrations etc.
