I have not managed to finish my C43 so It will be on show but no passenger rides i'm afraid. It is still work in progress and as soon as I find some time when I am not fixing everyone else's car I will finish it.

Hi Olly, I'm still planning to make the journey down in the morning. I just got the W201 back from Ian's last night though and wont have time to get it valeted first.

Did I imagine it or did I see a post where you were offering to re-gas aircon on the day for £35? I can't find the post!

Anyway, if you do have that offer and I'm not too late to take it up can you let me know please?

It was converted 4 or 5 years ago to take the later gas.

Edit; it had the old system when I got it and I had it converted 4/5 years ago. It then ran fine until the condenser went. I got the condenser replaced recently but have not yet had it re-gased.

Do I wash the car tonight in the rain before the drive down tomorrow - again likely to be in the rain?

Or do I simply leave it dirty?
