Great day and some lovely cars. :thumb:

Cheers Phil for the spin in the 63! That certainly is an amazing exhaust fitted to it. :thumb:

Olly thanks for the ATF Fluid change... More to come on this further below...

Food was nice and certainly better to have the GTG at the pub.

Thanks for a great day!

The journey home was pretty much a f*cking disaster however!

Firstly dropped MoAMG back to Olly's quickly as he is leaving his car there and put my car into the overspill place we normally park at Olly's (directly next door).

Went for a spin in his E55 and returned to find myself locked in! Why the hell did I not just park on Olly's drive I don't know!

SavMan to the rescue arrived with a key for the gate and got me unlocked! :thumb:

It gets worse.

Started pressing on a when on the A3, and then heard a thud followed by a rattling noise, so pulled over with SavMan following behind and the under tray had worked it self undone from earlier! :fail

Between us no one has any tools :fail- FFS I really don't want to lose under trays or anything of that kind. So slowly we nursed the car towards a Halfords to get some tools but found a RAC man on the way.

SavMan managed to borrow a socket from the RAC patrol and undone the entire tray. SavMan you really are a star.

Got the seats down (It's massive!!) !! loaded up my grazed and cracked under tray

Back to London!

Tired. Tired. Tired. I'll post properly tomorrow. Now I'm in some serious need of some sleep!

SavMan I owe you a few drinks!!

There was the "off site support team" of Rashman and I with string at the ready eventually joined by Cliff who was also having issues with the Brabus ECU!!
Glad you made it home :-)

Had an absolutely fabulous time yesterday and it was lovely to meet you all!
Olly, Jack, Graham, Pauline and all the Stoners thank you very much for a super day!

I only half noticed Nicks reg plate yesterday, but seeing both together. LOL. :)

As has been mentioned in many posts your best GTG yet Olly.

Many thanks to Jack, Graham and your lovely lady Pauline for all the hard work + the man who greeted us all, a great job by one and all.

It was great to meet up with old friends and meeting lots of new ones.

The food and location was fantastic + great weather I also had to put some cooling down lotion when I got home.

I don't think I've seen so many Quad exhausts in one place, There where some stunning cars and good to see a fellow CL55 owner which was in mint condition, the car not the owner, although he wasn't in bad nick.

Rash as usual your car was pristine, great catching up with you again.

Thanks again Olly.

This was the first Mercedes event I've been to and I have to say I really enjoyed it. I always had the preconception that Mercedes enthusiast would be geriatric, flat cap wearing, pipe smoking, coffin dodgers. That coupled with how embarrassingly rusty my car is, had always put me off such events in the past. But it was great to find a bunch of really friendly, sympathetic blokes with a common interest and to see some other modified Mercs and mint AMGs.

To put a face to a name, I'm Simon with the light blue w114 on AMGs.
Well done to Olly, didn't get to meet you but my dad is going to start bringing his clk320 w208 rag top to your garage next service.
