PDF Files on TV

Is there any way i can get my in-law that has no PC to view a PDF manual on his telly via dvd rather than printing 1000+ pages

If the DVD player can play a picture disc you could convert the PDF to a set of JPEGs and write them to a CD/DVD.

I can't recommend any specific application, but if you search t'Internet for "convert PDF JPEG" there seem to be plenty to choose from.

One problem with this approach would be making sure the text (if that's what the PDF file is) is legible on a TV.
 
I'll test it, he'll probably use the excuse to buy a bigger tv anyway!

It transferred all pages OK as JPG, file but as you expected the text was illegible on a 20" TV and also tried on my sons 14"tv which allows zoom on movies... but not on JPG files.
