Hi, i'm checking for the pedalset for mine CLS
and assuming that set for for E (W211) should be okay also for fit.
Or maybe not?

I can confirm that.
I bought this exact set, a while ago, to use the accelerator pedal as a footrest in my car (some trimming and velcro gluing was done, naturally).
Looks exactly as the main pedals, and the quality is excellent.

sum x-clusive AMG's have the factory dead rest plate as a standard option, other AMG's don't.

does anyone know the parts number for genuine dead rest plate?
does it fit older AMG's?

I guess it's velcro taping to attach plate?

The dead rest pedal is integrated into the carpet.

You need to order the whole carpet.

that sounds expensive also having to buy the carpet?
then it also seems like lots of work to install the damn bugger?

cheaper to buy and easier to fit a knock off plate from Ali-express which looks the same as the genuine sporty pedals.

It will only be for the drivers' side carpet so not that bad of a job, however, it will cost you £200+ for it haha.

didn't realize dead rest plate and carpet was £200?!
I think I'll invest my 200 quids somewhere else instead.

Btw: OEM AMG Carpet set (4): B 66 03 6149 apparently not available any more...

The entire E-class set cost me £8 delivered, and I still have a brake pad from it ... a spare set for my car was even cheaper, as it's only two pedals ...
I had an OEM set in my old car, and can't tell the difference.

There are plenty of parts, where precision engineering is vital, and I would only use Mercedes genuine parts - a set of pedal covers is not one of them.
