petrol cap

hey everyone

hows it going ?

wasnt on here for a while due to family probs

ok the issue is that i went to put petrol in yesterday but couldnt because the petrol cap / flap doesnt want to open as the central locking doesnt work at all now and nor does the locking button on the central console so what do i do although i can run the car on lpg but not for long as i need to top up with petrol too

so any ideas please

Is the car a 202 or 203

Its a w202 1994 C200

Remove the back part of the side trim on drivers side boot, you will see a small square hole and above it a lager squar’ish hole, look into the large hole and you will see a red plunger, pull it back, it will release the petrol flap. It is there precisely to solve your problem.
